How pressure washing is priced here
Each surface gets its own rate per square foot, because a deck or a house wash takes more care than flat concrete. The calculator multiplies each area by its rate, adds your trip and setup fee, and applies your minimum charge.
The rates on this page are examples so the calculator shows a number. Set your own in the rates section. We keep them in this browser for your next quote.
How much to charge to pressure wash a driveway
Measure the driveway length and width and multiply them. A driveway 40 ft long and 20 ft wide is 800 sq ft. Enter that, and the calculator multiplies it by your concrete rate. Add walkways and the patio to the same line if you clean them the same way.
Check the price against your time
Enter how many hours you expect to spend on site. The calculator divides the price before tax by those hours. That tells you whether the per-square-foot rate actually pays for your time on this job. Small jobs often fall below what you need per hour. The minimum charge and trip fee fix that.
Cleaning windows or gutters on the same visit? Price them with the window cleaning and gutter cleaning calculators and add the totals to your notes.
Questions
How do I measure square footage for a pressure washing quote?
Multiply length by width for each flat area. For a house wash, multiply the perimeter of the house by the wall height. For a fence, multiply its length by its height.
Should I charge by the square foot or by the hour?
Square-foot pricing is easy for customers to understand. Checking it against your hours on site keeps it honest. This calculator shows both.
Are the default rates real market prices?
No. They are placeholders so the example works. Your prices depend on your area, equipment and costs. Replace them with your own.
Do I need a minimum charge?
A minimum covers the drive, setup and cleanup that every job has, however small. Set it in the rates section. The calculator raises any smaller quote to the minimum and shows that step.
